Sample Work

Projects By Drew Schneider

The links below will open samples of some of my instructional design and cousulting work.  The first set of links are samples of instructional projects I have done using Articulate software over the years.  Most of my work is used in Learning Management Systems (LMS).  The samples below focus on faculty development.  However, I have extensive experience in face-2-face, hybrid, virtual, and fully asynchronous online instruction in higher education settings.  The second set of links are samples of instructional videos.  The final set of links open PDF documents.  These documents are samples of face-2-face instruction and consulting projects.

Fundamentals of Debriefing

One of my professional specialties is performance or instructional feedback.  I am also well versed in post-simulation instruction debriefing.  This MASSIVE course continues to be used.  I no longer place multiple modules in one course.  The totality of this course is over 4 hours long.  This project has been used for the past six years as part of the course on debriefing and feedback I give to faculty.

Teaching with Cases

This project was one of several that I completed during a Graduate Assistantship at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.  This course is for medical school faculty and covers using cases in instruction.  Cases are used from examples to simulations to problem-based learning (PBL).

Intermediate Debriefing Course

This project is the next step in the progression of faculty development that for healthcare faculty.  Only the first of six modules are listed below.

Instructional Videos:

In this section I have two video samples.  Both videos were developed using Camtasia.

The first is a training video I did as part of a grant-funded training project.  I created a set of videos on post-simulation debriefing (feedback) that were uploaded into a national

repository.  I have included the second video of the series covering feedback styles.

The second video was a group project in my master's program.  Our group presented on conflict management.  You will note that I was the narrator.  The images, content, and script were done as a group.  I offered to put the final video together due to having access to video design software and my experience.

Document Samples:

This last set of links are PDF documents that will give you a sample of a face-2-face training guides and consulting project proposals.  These are larger documents and do not have all the design or analysis steps

included.

The first set of documents are for a face-2-face training I designed.  The course is to teach learners how to use Theta 360 camera and use images to create a 360-tour using Kolor PanoTour Pro software.

The next set of documents are consulting project documents.  The first is a completed case-study from graduate school.  The next two are for an organizational development and learning (OD&L) project.  There are two documents regarding this project, a final proposal and an analysis.
